Our son shared with Hugh a first day as new boys at Loddon school and it was fated that Malcolm and I also became good friends as ‘new boys’ in Silverdale Road, with mind bending discussions over coffee amid the current DIY project. Moving away in the 90s with only occasional contact, it was a great joy to meet up again in recent years and find not only the same good friend but also now sharing a love for and commitment to Jesus which was expressed in such loving and generous service to others. Time to share more has been cut short, but we will have eternity to reminisce. Rob

Eternally thankful to have met and worked for and alongside Malcolm. I for one will celebrate the short time I knew him and his life, as he was and is a lovely man, a wise man. I will always be thankful to him, he gave me opportunities and mentoring that has helped me in my life and career.
I am so sad we did not get to meet again in this life. God bless you.

Great memories include debating Biblical truths, lots and lots of badminton games, seeing his amazing DIY exploits, wonderful acts of generosity, chats on Sunday morning. Malcolm was a great guy and we're really going to miss him.
